-
- First, as I said before, ^W for close window does not make anymore sense
- than ^W for cycle windows. The only thing is that all programs in Germany
- already use ^U for closing a window - you better wake up and check the
- German ftp sites - they are VERY consistent. Atari and SDS were a bit late
- and so are you.
-
- OK, now to other things I don't like:
-
- First I don't like the use of low/upper case, it will confuse the hell out
- of users, and is already confusing me.

- What do these mean?
-
- >SHIFT-tab Cycle Windows Window
-
- Shift Tab is already in use as backtab.
-
- >Command-d Find Previous Edit
-
- This is not bad, honest. But I thing the Shift+CTRL+G method makes more
- sense in the context of the new standard.
-
- I believe that my proposal manages to find a compromise by assigning ^Tab
- to cycle windows which makes perfect sense and ^Esc for closing while
- maintaining compatibility with the German standard.
-
- However, there are many things in your proposal I do like, so I will try to
- add these to my proposal and post another pre-vote proposal in a few days.
-

-
- I'll be happy to do it myself, I just thought you did a very good job of
- dividing the commands into categories. If you don't want to, I'll do it
- myself.
-
- >As for poting to a vote, I wanted to get some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback first.
- >Don't tell me I only have two options. That is a bullshit ultimatum.
-
